Getting Started
Finding accurate information on international human rights issues can be easy or frustrating depending on the validity of the information coming from a country. The best initial strategy to take is to assume there is accurate information available. If you are looking for information on human rights issues in a particular country, the World Almanac is an excellent place to begin.
Books
Books on human rights will be found in the 323 and 341.4
sections of the library. The subject heading Human rights refers
to materials on the right of person regardless of their legal, socioeconomic
or cultural status as recognized by the international community. For materials
on citizens' rights as established by law use Civil rights. Search
the on-line catalog for additional information.
